The influence of breast density on ADC measures was also evaluated. Fat within an HCC is most commonly detected as intravoxel fat on dual-echo MRI, but gross fat may also be visible on MRI and CT . On ultrasound, fat increases the echogenicity of a focal HCC , and nodules larger than 1 cm that arise in a cirrhotic liver and should be further evaluated regardless of echogenicity .
